Made in Derbyshire. Enjoyed by all.
Possibly the greatest location on Earth? We think so. But then again we might be a little biased and honestly we don't get out that much!
Our distillery is located in rural Derbyshire in the small village of Westhouses, close to the town of Alfreton. Although proudly from Derbyshire we are a short drive from our neighbouring counties of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire.
Surrounded by farm land, rolling hills and picturesque villages, the area is famous for it's former coal mines. Not far is the Derwent river renowned for providing power to the first industrial scale cotton mills acting as a catalyst for the industrial revolution.
Finding inspiration is easy with natural beauty, historical heritage and urban centres on your doorstep.
To the East you can find can find the breath-taking landscape of the UK's first National Park, the Peak District. Travelling West you enter Sherwood Forest filled with the mystique and legend of Robin Hood.
Culture and history seeps through the bricks of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall and Bolsover Castle.
Fortunately located nearby to some of the most vibrant cities in England, we find ourselves: 16 miles from Derby, 17 miles from Nottingham, 34 miles from Sheffield, 42 miles from Leicester .
If you ever do need to leave we are fantastically served by several major railway hubs connecting us to the rest of the UK. The M1, Britain's first full length motorway, running up the spine of the country is a 10 minute drive away. For those wanting to go further afield East Midlands Airport is just 20 minutes away.
Hopefully you can see why we love it here.
